Byers Fire Protection District currently provides all hazard response to a service area covering more than 700 square miles, operating out of one fully staffed station, providing 24/7 coverage. Byers Fire is a combination department with a total of around 28 personnel, comprised of volunteer members and career staff. Byers Fire Protection District response to over 1,000 calls for service annually, with that number steadily growing each year.
Byers Fire Protection District No. 9 is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Byers Fire Protection District No. 9
