Come join the Junior Firefighting program here at Byers Fire. Byers Fire offers a number of opportunities to learn the medical and fire life!
Purpose
This program will provide the operational guidelines and the skills needed for any participant to prepare themselves to become a firefighter in a volunteer or career fire department. This program will be open to any applicant sixteen (16) years of age to eighteen (18) years of age.
Requirements
Be between the ages of 16 and 18 years old.
Provide proof of maintaining a C average or better while attending school (monthly reports emailed to Chief Disher and FF. Anderson).
Provide a character reference from two teachers.
Must be able to follow strict orders.
