Full Time Paramedic / Firefighter

This position is based on the BFPD 48/96 shift schedule. 

Minimum requirements:

• Colorado Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider
• CDFPC Firefighter I / Ability to attend an academy*
• CDFPC Hazardous Materials Operations level 
• FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
• Driver Operator or Engineer Experience is preferred
• Valid Driver's License 

Minimum requirements to be met within 1 year of hire:

• CDFPC Firefighter II
• CDFPC Driver Operator

• Interview, Fire/EMS practical skills assessment 
• Ride along
• Background check
• Driver’s License check

Starting Salary range  $55,000 - $60,000
